Are you ready to take your home security to the next level? With Philips EasyKey, not only can you keep your doors securely locked, but you can also enjoy the peace of mind that comes with advanced alarm features. Delve into the world of smart security as we explore the five different types of alarms offered by Philips EasyKey, designed to keep you and your loved ones safe around the clock.
Anti-Dismantling Alarm
After installing our smart door lock, many customers often wonder what to do if someone attempts to dismantle it entirely. Don’t worry, as Philips EasyKey comes with an anti-dismantling alarm. Should someone violently unlock the door, causing misalignment between the lock and the door, the alarm will sound a distinct ‘BEEP.’ This feature serves as a deterrent against violent tampering. Moreover, for added peace of mind, Philips EasyKey with network connectivity will also send an alarm notification to your mobile app, enabling remote real-time monitoring and further enhancing your sense of security.
Abnormal Latch Bolt Alarm
When the lock encounters difficulty in unlocking or locking, or if there’s an issue with the latch bolt, the alarm is activated. For example, the Philips EasyKey equipped with a fully automatic mortise. Its latch bolt automatically extends to secure the door upon closure. Should the door fail to close properly or if there’s an abnormality with the latch bolt, the alarm will sound. This feature brings peace of mind to those who habitually double-check their door’s security before leaving, effectively minimizing the potential for household security concerns.
The Outside Forced Alarm
For frequent travelers, the concern for family and home security during long periods of absences is common. However, with the exterior forced alarm feature of Philips EasyKey, you can find reassurance even when away. In this mode, if someone attempts to unlock the door from inside or through the peephole from outside, the alarm will sound a distinct ‘BEEP,’ and the smart lock will send an alarm notification to your mobile app. This combined alarm system, integrating both the smart door lock and the mobile app, significantly enhances home security, providing you with peace of mind no matter where you are.
System Lock Alarm
To safeguard against unauthorized access through PIN code or fingerprint decoding, Philips EasyKey features a System Lock Alarm. If there are 5 consecutive incorrect entries of fingerprint, PIN code, or key tag within 5 minutes, the smart door lock system will be temporarily locked for 3 minutes. During this period, users will be unable to enter fingerprints or PIN codes. This System Lock Alarm acts as an additional layer of security, effectively creating an ‘invisible lock’ to enhance home security.
Low Battery Alarm
Generally, Philips EasyKey digital locks required 4 to 8 batteries to function. 4 batteries can last for approximately 6 to 8 months while 8 batteries can last approximately 8 to 16 months.(Recommended to change the battery every 6 months to minimize the risk of battery leakage) To ensure uninterrupted operation, the Philips EasyKey features a low battery reminder function. When the battery level drops below 20%, a voice prompt will remind you to replace it promptly. Additionally, for selected models, you can directly check the remaining battery and receive low battery notifications on the app.
In the event that you forget to replace the battery despite the reminders, Philips EasyKey is equipped with a Micro USB or USB-C battery interface for charging convenience. Simply use a standard charger or powerbank to power up the digital lock, ensuring continuous security without interruption.
We would like to remind our users to always keep your mechanical key with you at all times (in your bag, car, office or with your parents). Should a locksmith service be required to open your digital door/gate lock (irregardless of whether your key compartment is accessible), customers will have to bear the charges incurred for the locksmith service. For urgent cases, the locksmith engaged by us will reach your home within 2 hours. In the event that your digital lock is damaged by the locksmith to unlock your door/gate, a replacement set will be chargeable.
With features such as the abnormal latch bolt alarm, anti-dismantling, outside forced, system lock alarm and low battery alarms, Philips EasyKey ensures users’ peace of mind and provides round-the-clock protection for your home.
