Accessing technologies has become increasingly convenient in recent times, and Philips EasyKey is no exception. Philips EasyKey provides the real-time doorway situation anytime and anywhere*, as long as the Wifi connection is connected to the door and gate locks.
Philips EasyKey mobile app sends out push notifications to keep owners informed about activity on their digital locks. For instance, whenever family members leave for work, return home, or any activity such as using the keypads or fingerprint sensors occurs, the app connected to the digital locks notifies the owners.
However, there are instances where no records are accessible, and no pop-up notifications are dispatched.
Why did my lock records disappear all of a sudden from the mobile app?
-
Router replacement
Replacing your router or modifying its password can result in a disruption of the network connection for your smart lock. However, by reconfiguring the network settings and re-establishing the connection with the smart lock, you can restore access to its unlock records.
-
Use dual band router (2.4GHz)
Philips EasyKey exclusively operates on the 2.4GHz band for network distribution, and are incompatible with 5GHz and mesh type wifi. If you utilize a dual-band router, please ensure to opt for the 2.4GHz band when configuring the network settings for the best performance.
-
Recover the factory settings
After restoring the smart lock to its factory settings, all operational records will be erased, and the network settings will revert to their initial state. Users will then need to set up the network again to resume normal use of the smart lock.
Lock records and pop-up messages keep you informed about your family’s daily routine, offering reassurance with each notification.
